Trying to connect to a shared printer

A number of new desktops were installed in my workplace. I tried connecting
from one of the new desktops to a shared printer in another office. When I
go the ADD Printer function, and browse for a network or printer connected to
another computer, nothing shows up. When I click on Microsoft Windows
Network, there's a slight delay while it searches, but nothing shows up.

Bob, I think even though you're on a network, you have to have the printer
drivers on your local PC

Is the printer actually connected and shared on another PC or is it a
network connected printer.

-- We have a lot of printers, none of which are Network connected. They're all shared printers conncected to different computers. From most of the computers, you can see all of the printers, but from the newly installed computers, I can not add any of those printers.
