Trying to change bitmap photos to jpg.

I have been trying to saving my jpg photos to my computer and they convert to
bitmap. Does anyone know how I can undo this since I am not able to have them
printed this large?
 
There's lots of shareware photo editors and converters out there. This is
the one I use ...

BTW: This forum is for questions about Microsoft Access, the database
program included in Office Professional Edition.
