Try to keep net from starting on bootup and restart

Internet starts when I turn on computur or restart. Would like to set it so
it does't Start till I am ready to get on line. Have look in msconfig-startup
but didn't see anything. Just wonder if there is a setting in AOL 9.0 or
internet Explorer that I have set wrong. Thanks for any Help

If you use AOL dialup, then you would need to look in AOL's preferences
for startup options.

Your first troubleshooting step should be to make sure the computer is
completely virus/malware-free:

If the computer is clean and the problem persists, you have something
installed which is perhaps checking for updates or needs to get online
and is calling AOL. Here are some links where you can look up what you
