Is MS also going to be closing down these NG's along with the chat, or
is this an just example of how MS NG's will operate under the banner of
"Trustworthy Computing?"

It's just chat rooms on MSN. It is a cost-saving measure primarily -
the PR people just threw the pedophilia into the mix. Trustworthy
Computing has little to do with your security. IMO, it really means
that MS is going to implement Digital Rights Management so that there is
no question about users' accessing copyrighted material. Users cannot
be trusted, so MS will box them in, making Trustworthy Users.
