Trust problems

I have 2 Domains 1 is a Windows 2000 and the other is a Windows 2003.
When I verify the Windows 2000 Domain I get the message that the Trust is
active and in place.
When I try to Verify the Trust on the 2003 Domain I recieve the following
message.

"Information from the primary domain controller for the domain
"mydomain.com" cannot be obtained because: Access is denied.
Make sure the PDC is operating properly then try again."

If I try to remove the trust from the 2003 domain I get the error

"Access Denied"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Pete

It could be that DNS is not functioning properly between the 2003 and 2000
domains. Or the account you're logging into doesn't have permissions to
administer the trust.

Make sure the account you're logging on to is a member of the domain admins
group in both domains. Do an nslookup for each domain from the other (in
domain1.com, "nslookup domain2.com" and vice-versa. Make sure you resolve a
DC in the other domain in each case.
