trust problem

Hi,
i have two problems,
1. an windows 2000 server and an NT 4 trusted each other before. but now i
have an error message like "The system cannot log you on to this domain
because the trust releationship between the primary domain and the trusted
domain failed".
i cannot remove trusting and trusted domains from windows 2000 Server and i
cannot add trusting to NT 4.
how can i solve this problem.

2. we have exchange 2000 server, but some of our clients want to check
e-mails with microsoft outlook from onother domain or a standalone server.
is there any settings for microsoft outlook for this problem.

1. What error do you get if you try to reestablish the trust. Trust problems
sometimes relate to nameresolution problem or other network connectivity
problems. As we have NT4 domain in the picture, try to verify that you have
a common WINS server. You can also use LMHOST files for nameresolution.

2. In outlook - Exchange connector you can specify that outlook always asks
you for username and password thous allowing you to connecto to a mailbox
sitting in another domain.
