Trust between a 2000 Natvie mode and NT 4

Hi,

I am trying to setup a trust between my Windows 2000
Server w/ SP4 running in Native mode and a Windows NT 4
server w/ SP6a. I am unable to establish the trust in
either direction. The error that displays when in W2K
is "The domain can not be contacted" and in NT is "Could
not find domain controller for this domain"

I don't know if the problem is due to the W2K in native
mode.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

It's not related to Native mode, but it sounds like you have an issue with
WINS or DNS. Do you have a f/w between the domains or a router that's
blocking traffic?

Yes it is a WINS issue. Do you have a WINS server? Is it replicating
between NT and Windows Domain?
