Trust between 2000 and 2003

I''m having a problem with a trust relationship between Wndows 2003(SP1) and
Windows 2000 (SP4). Does anyone have a resolution? My Windows 2000 domain
can't see the windows 2003 domain. They get a message no logon server
available. They both are running DNS for there own domain. Both having a
primary of itself and secondary is opposite domain controllers.
They are both on the same segment.

When I try to validate from the 2003 server to the 2000 server I get the
following error message: Windows cannot find a domain controller for the
DC-M.com domain. Verify that a DC is available and then try again.
I had it working and it just stopped.

Please help

Do you have WINS installed and configured? Both DC's from both domains need
access to the same WINS database.

I believe in order to setup an external trust, you require netbios name
resolution, fulfilled by the above.
