Truncated Zero (0)

Greetings,

Does anyone know how to prevent Excel from truncating zero in a Zipcod
field, when the first digit is zero?

I am importing data from a tab-delimited .txt file.

Any help would be appreciated.

In one of the steps of the Import Wizard (don't remember which one) it
asks for the type of each column. Designate the zip code column as
'text'
