truncated text in Word template

Problem started following recent upgrade from Word 2000 to Word 2003.
In Word templates, some but not all text truncates when the printer dialog
box is opened. Problem occurs on 2 different network printers (although
printers are same brand but different models). The change is effected on
screen as well as on the printed copy. Text remains truncated onscreen even
if you close the document without resaving and then reopen document. Document
is returned to normal by ticking 'disable device fonts' in properties in
printer dialog box. Don't know if I have a printer driver or compatability
(2000 to 2003 version) problem? Any clues?--

I'd say this is a printer driver problem. Possibly, the driver installed on the
machines/network needs to be updated to one designed to work with Word 2003.
This isn't unusual for graphics card or printer drivers; Word works them much
harder than most applications. Check the manufacturer's website.
