I would like to truncate text when I resize the frame/page on my screen. In
other words, the all text within my doc should always be present
notwithstanding the size of the frame. (Instead of going out of the fame)

That's the opposite of truncate ...

If you want to keep the same material in a smaller space, obviously
you have to make the material smaller! Change the font size and maybe
the line spacing.

The text should resize when i when size the window. I've had word do this
for a long time--then it changed...any suggestions
thanks

I've been useing print view. it works this way on my other computers. i can't

I believe you've been using web layout view until recently.

Check the zoom setting. It may be set to “Whole page†on the other computers
and not on the one with the problem.

Aha -- you were talking about the window rather than about the frame
or the page.
