troubling quotes

On my Access form, I try to copy the value of number field TitleID to a
text field NewTitleID while adding a character to the number. For instance,
number 435 should change to A435. I have tried things like
"Me.[TitleID] = '" """A""" & Me![NewTitleID] & "'"

Nothing works. What can I do? Your help is appreciated greatly.
