Troubleshooting Outlook attachments

When I sent attachments via Outlook they appeared in a 4th window below the
To, CC and Subject but now they appear as an icon in the text of my email but
do not get to the recipient?

Thank you that works! But why has it changed? I have been studying other help
forums as well and discovered that it works OK with Outlook in Safe Mode but
I guess that is the same thing as you suggested?

Outlook has 3 outgoing message formats - plain text, HTML and Rich Text.
The last one does not always work with other clients and attachments are
shown as icons in the message body. I work in heterogenous environments
with varied operating systems and email clients. One of the first things I
do is make outbound email on Outlook as HTML and NO word as the editor.

Something or someone had to change it on your email client, either on
purpose or by accident.

Have fun!

I have outlook 2003 and have been having same issue. All emails are HTML, but
half the time clients say there is no attachment.
