Troubleshoot when exiting Excel.

I am working with MS Office XP 2003. I Use to convert my excel files into Pdf
files using acrobat writter V5.0. I have trouble when I want to exit excel.
Before, it was happening from time to time but now it has become frequent.
What should I do to stop this?
