Trouble with Images

I am trying to save a Powerpoint presentation that I designed as a PDF so
that it can be posted on our company's intranet site. When I save it as a PDF
my images which originally had a feathered edge to them are just boxed off.
So if i have an image of a person with the feathered edge, when I open the
PDF the top of the heads are cut off because the image is just a box. Is
there anything I need to be doing when I go to save the pres as a PDF to keep
the images as they are????? Please help!!!!

I'm guessing you did the feathered edge trick with gradient transparency and
unfortunately that's not supported well, if at all, when printing from PPT (and
you have to do a kind of printing process to make PDFs).

The simplest workaround is:
For each of these pictures, select it, press Ctrl+C to copy it, then choose
Edit, Paste Special, as PNG. Delete the original picture, move this newly
pasted one into its place.

This should get you going.
