Trouble viewing calendar in outlook

When I click on the calendar in the navigation pane my calendar does not
open. But it displays on the today screen and if I open the calendar in a new
window it displays. How can I get the calndar to load when I just click on it?

Have you tried resetting your view on the calendar? Right click, select
properties, then on the Home Page tab, click the Reset Defaults button.
