Trouble using "Day" function in a formula

Am using the "Day" function in a formula on a cash flow worksheet
purpose is to put the item due in the correct week of each month . Nee
to add 4 days to the result of the "day" function so that items due on
Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues are scheduled to be paid the previous week. It work
fine except when the day of month is the 27th or higher, as adding
creates a number over 30 and does not recognize the end of month
Example: Rent payment due the first of each month. Cell A5 would sho
the description "rent"; cell B5 shows the first date due "eg: 6/01/03"
cell C5 shows amount "2,000". columns D,E,F, etc are all week date
ending on a Friday (for example, 1/03/03; 1/10/03; etc) - these date
are located in each column in row 3. An example of the formula bein
used is in the attached fil

Few if any sensible people will open your file. Copy your formula i
Excel's formula bar and paste it as plain text into a follow-up.

File attachments are *never* necessary for formula questions
