trouble using access in xp

i have a MS Access database located in a server. when we tried to access the
database using computers in xp and ms office 2003, we always lost connection
to it. and we do this everyday: open MS Access, locate the workgroup
information file before we can use the database. what's the problem? why do
these computers always lost connection to the workgroup information file

Hi Sherwin,

Create a shortcut that references the workgroup file like this:

"c:\program files\microsoft office\office\msaccess.exe"
g:\database\database.mdb /wrkgrp g:\database\workgroup.mdw
