Trouble shutting down and restarting

Every time I try to either shutdown or restart it slows down my computer then after about 2min I jumps to a blue screen and the msg. is some what around the lines off.

Stop: Dumping physical memory

then it shuts off and the bootup takes even longer....

Hi,

Start/run eventvwr.msc, check the system logs for the error and post back
with the text.
