Trouble Shooting

I am new to the computer world, I will be graduating with an AA degree
with an emphasis in computer networking. My problem is that there
really wasn't any trouble shooting courses. Are there any good free
"trouble shooting Windows Operating Systems" tutorials on the web? If
not, can anyone suggest some good books that would help with my
problem. I am woried about not bringing enough skills to the table when
I start my job search. I really apreciate any comments on this subject.
