Trouble shooting memory errors

Hi Guys,
My company has recently purchased a software package that keeps giving
us memory errors. Although this seems to be an application issue it is
going to fall on desktop support to figure this out. Can someone post
some good links on this? An example error is;


Application popup: LabMenu32.exe - Application Error : The instruction
at "0x10006bd8" referenced memory at "0x011688d4". The memory could not
be "read".


Click on OK to terminate the program

Thanks in advance
 
Boot to safe mode and see if it runs. If so, it's getting sat on by some
system memory.
