Trouble running Outlook 2007

I've just installed Office 2007 Pro and am happy with most of it, however I
can't get Outlook to run.

I previously used Outlook Express 6 and "assumed" all would migrate nicely.
When I start Outlook 2007, I receive the following message:

"Microsoft Outlook cannot run the add-in. Microsoft Outlook cannot install
the necessary files due to Windows Installer error 1605."

I have found a few hits on this problem, but none that relate to 2007.

After clearing that message (I need to click on it atleast 12 times), I
receive another error indicating that Oultook cannot register Outlook forms.
Then, once this error is cleared, I get the third and final error stating:

"Failed to register a VB Script DLL. Reinstall or run Regsvr32.exe
Vbscript.dll to self register."

Once this error is cleared, Outlook 2007 simply exits.

I have tried uninstalling Outlook Express, reinstalling Outlook 2007, and
tried every tip so far found on the internet. Nothing seems to help. I must
be missing something, so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply.

I tried your suggestion, but still no luck I'm afraid. I still receive the
same errors. I have now removed Outlook 2007, and have installed Outlook
2003, and all works fine. So, while the other components of Office 2007 are
working, looks like I'm stuck on an old version of Outlook for awhile longer.

Thanks again!
