Hello-
I've been having trouble joining an XP client to our nt 4
domain. Its really weird, as I've been able to do this
before, there is just one particular machine I'm having
trouble with.
When I attempt to join the domain using the "computer
name" tab in system properties, it asks me all the info,
seems to be doing something, then comes back with an "RPC
Server unavailable" error.
I have tried using the netdom command from the command
prompt but that is no help either.
I can get into network resources on the domain (ie
entering the UNC from the run command) - it will ask me
for domain credentials, and let me in. The trouble seems
to be physically adding the machine to the domain.
any ideas?
