Trouble Hiding Columns

I have a spreadsheet that I hide many of the columns prior
to distributing. This month it won't allow me to hide all
the columns. The message I receive is "Cannot shift
objects off sheet." Any help would be appreciated.

Your spreadsheet thinks it's used all of the columns
and/or rows. Sometimes this happens when you format the
whole column or row and the cell holds that information.
(Check to see how big your file is.) To see where your
spreadsheet "thinks" it ends, do a ctrl-end. This brings
you to the right and bottom most cell in your
spreadsheet. If you have a lot of blank columns or rows
beyond your data, then delete them. Save the file. You
should see a decrease in your file size. And, you should
be able to hide/unhide without an error message.

Thanks, but not the solution. I have a copy of the
previous months file and this one is not much bigger. I
had already tried to delete all columns and rows not used
and it did not fix my problem. The ctrl-end takes me to
my last column and row of visible data. However, the
scroll bar at the bottom is not at the far right like old
versions of this file are. That tells me the file thinks
there is still data to the right even though ctrl-end says
I am at the far right! WEIRD
