Trouble enabling TV out on 9600 All In Wonder

Greg

I have been trying to get TV out working on my 9600 for a few days.

I have attached ATI provided device that has a S-Video that hooks into
the card and has the 3 RCA females and an S-Video on the box. From
this I have attached 3 RCA cables and plugged these into my TV in
place of my DVD/VCR player. I switched the TV to the DVD screen which
is where I would normally view my DVDs through the player.

I have Catalyst 4.11 installed and unfortunately none of the
explanations I have found on the ATI site and elsewhere seem to match
this software. Everyone talks about enabling the TV out from the
Control Panel - Displays, but the Tabs on my system do not match what
they are describing. It appears that I need to launch Catalyst Control
Center to do this now, but I am not sure.

In CCC I go to the Display Manager and attempt to detect the TV with
no luck.If I go to Display Otions, I can select Force TV detection and
Apply this change. Now, if I go to Display Manager, i see an
Additional Display. I can make this new Display be a Clone and my
screen resizes a800X600. Still, nothing displays on my actual TV. Even
if I restart the computer, I still get nothing.

Please help:(

All of the outputs are with the VGA hookups. The purple(all of mine are) box
has only inputs.

There are two versions of 4.11 up on the ATI site, one with the old Control
Panel, the other with the new Catalyst Control Center. If you're going to
use the old manuals you need the one with the old Control Panel. If you
want to use Catalyst Control Center there's a manual for it available for
download--go to "drivers and downloads" and pick "product manuals" then
"PC" and you should see it on the list.

OK, I'm an idiot. The connectors that I was using were for video in
and not video out. Works fine after I attach to the Yellow cable on
the Output spider.
