Trouble downloading .pps files. Please help!

I have uploaded .pps files to a ftp-server and made links to them.
When I rightclick the links and choose "Save target as.." they are saved as
..ppt files! Is there a way to avoid this? This only happens when downloading
from Interned Explorer. Other browsers such as Firefox will download the
files as .pps.

One way is to zip up the .pps.
Zip the PowerPoint Show using WinZip (www.winzip.com), or use Windows XP
Built-in Zip support ( Read here:

). Then, upload the zip files.
