Trouble booting up windows xp

V

Vince

I've had Windows XP for a while now. Until one day, my
computer froze and I was force to click the restart button
from windows, without safely shutting down. Now when I
boot up my computer, and trying to boot up windows the
windows boot up screen doesn't show up and then it
restarts back to BIOS. Please help.

Hi

Can you get to the 'Last Known Good Configuration' screen by continuously
tapping F8 after a reboot? If so, try that option. Failing that try the
same screen, but this time enter Safe Mode to see if you can perform a
System Restore.
