Trojan

Hi,
I am running windows xp with Zone Alarm & AVG free edition, also BT
Broadband.
AVG has run automatically as programmed & has thrown up a Trojan saying
'downloader swizzor.G'
AVG says it cannot remove it, is it harmful to my pc or should i try to get
rid of it, if so how do i get rid of it.
