trojan virus I can't get rid of

I have norton antvirus 2005 and it says I have the Haxdoor.backdoor virus.
C:\windows\system32\mszx23.exe is infected with the Backdoor.Haxdoor virus
I followed their instructions from their website to get rid of it and it is
still there.

Also someone suggested I try the Trend sysclean package and that didn't get
rid of it either. Any other suggestions???

Terminate the process using control+alt+del and manually delete the
file mszx23.exe
