Trojan QHOST virus - please help

When I go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/828
750/download.asp and open or download the patch:

Internet Explorer 6 for Windows XP

Security Update
2.51 MB file
12 min @ 28.8 Kbps

It gives me an error message that says I need to have IE
5 installed on my computer - which I do.

Help!

Hello D,

1. Are you able to just install it from WindowsUpdate?

2. When you go to -
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/828750/download.asp,
it will prompt for a language, then it will give you the option of what
package based on your config. What OS and IE version are you running
specicifally?
