I have a PWTrojan virus infection. I have run all virus
scans with updated Norton's virus protection, which
doesn't find the virus in my system.
I have gone to the Symantec website and followed their
instructions to remove the virus (open registry editor
and remove 'molecule'. I don't have a 'molecule' in my
registry) and cant get a result from that either.
However, every time I log on to the Internet, Norton's
opens the following alerts;

C:\Windows\fps.exe, PWTrojan found, unable to repair
Then I quarentine.

C:\Windows\mps.exe, PWTrojan found, unable to repair
Then I quarentine.

C:\Windows\iss.exe, PWTrojan found, unable to repair
Then I quarentine.

C:\Windows\CRSS.exe, PWTrojan found, unable to repair
Then I quarentine.

C:\Windows\kdd32.exe, PWTrojan found, unable to repair
Then I quarentine.

I have also tried to find these files on my machine and I
cant see them?

Can you please help?

Thanks

Macca

if you can't see the files, go to folder options \view hidden files and folders. if you use search make sure you have the option on to search in hidden files and folders and all files.
