another question i have is what damage exactly can trojan horses do to a pc?
and how do i know if a file is suspicious also where would a suspicious file
be? im not much good with pcs im afraid. thanks so much.

Hi
Trojans 'can' cause havoc on a system - depending on which one(s) are
involved. Please virus scan your system with the latest definitions for
your AV program and then check for any potential viruses. The virus could
be anywhere on your hard disk/partition.
