Trojan Horse Downloader

I am using Grisoft AVG anti-virus program and at least
twice a day I get a AVG Resident Shield window that
states "Virus Trojan Horse Downloader.Wintrim.AD is
found in file C:/SystemVolumeInformation\_restore
{....}.dll" It then tells me to run AVG to remove it. My
question is, how can I keep this from happening and how
serious is it? Thanks.

.
Your system volume info. are your system restore files
(checkpoints) if you dont restore your system to the
infected checkpoint you have nothing to worry about and
in time the checkpoint that is infected will be replaced.
Option 2
Shut off system restore and reboot, then turn system
restore back on.All checkpoints will be removed along
with the virus.
Option 3
Create a new checkpoint and then do a Disk cleanup with
the "remove all but the last checkpoint" option.
