Triple Boot Installation Clarification Needed

Hi - I have 98SE and XP Pro SP 2 on my PC. I want to install the Vista Beta
on Drive/Partition N as shown in this screenshot:

Question: When I click the Vista Install button, will I be given the choice
of which Drive/Partition to install Vista on?

I don't want to overwrite my XP Pro installation.

If you launch setup from within Windows XP, there will be a Custom option
during the setup wizard, click this and select the partition you created for
Vista and setup will do the rest. Vista create a new boot manager, your
legacy versions of Windows (98 and XP) will be accessible from under the
Earlier Versions of Windows boot menu.

Ok - Another question: How do I access the Earlier Versions of the Windows
Boot Menu after Vista is installed?

I thought this was an appropriate place to post this info:

I had considerable trouble getting Vista to install to a partition I created
w/ Acronis Disk Director Suite (by FAR preferred to PartitionMagic, IMHO).

I had the same issue on both my desktop (Nvidia nForce4 chipset) and my
notebook (ATI Xpress 200 chipset). Installation would keep failing, telling
me that Vista experienced an error and was unable to prepare the hard drive.
Same thing would happen if I tried to format the drive from the Vista
installation program.

Turns out that Vista doesn't like to be installed to a logical partition. As
soon as I changed the partition to a primary partition, things went smooth as
silk.
