Tried HTMLEdit from d-bross.com
The 1st (and only) run makes about 100 registry entries and
crashes.

If you got the program after my post, I apologize.
FWIW, it never crashed here on my win 98SE, and I'm only counting 9
entries.

No need to apologize unless you wrote it. ;)
FWIW, I run whilst monitoring registry changes. It seems to keep
tags, elements, et al in the registry.
