TreeView Carriage Return vbCrlf

I have populated the treeview but would like to display messages in
each node. The data I am populating is from a memo field and the data
in the column is excepting carriage returns, but when I bring it over
to the treeview the text is on one line and the 2 squares where I have
inserted the vbcrlf in the code.
Anybody out there know ?!?!
