transpose function - hide rows in between can work?

if i do the transpose function from 2Rows 3Columns, the result must be in 3R
2C (as must be converse only can work)
i tried in between rows i hide i can't get the correct result. any other way?

sales cost margin
jan 500 400 100
feb 300 100 200 (hide this row)
mac 500 300 200

if i hide feb row i can't get the following. any workaround if i need to
hide
jan mac
sales 500 500
cost 400 300
margin 100 200

Hide the row. Select the unhidden cells. Choose Edit | Go To | Special |
Visible Cells Only. Edit | Copy. Select top left cell for new location.
Choose Edit | Paste Special | Transpose.
