transpose and link??

Hello,

I am using Windows/Office 2K. is it possible to Copy ->paste special
and choose transpose as well as link?
If I choose transpose, the link option is greyed out.

Is there any other way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi
this is not possible but you may use a formula. e.g. put
the following on sheet 2 in cell A1 to get column A from
sheet 1 into row 1 of sheet 2:
=OFFSET('sheet1'!$A$1,COLUMN()-1,0)
and copy to the right

Or, put in A1 of Sheet2 and copy down col A
: =OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1,,ROW()-1)
to "transpose-link" what's in row1 of Sheet1 (in A1, B1, C1, etc ... )
