Hi there

I have a query. When inserting transparent images, Powerpoint tends to put a
border around the image. Is there any way around this?

Many thanks in advance

Works fine for me here.
See if this works,
Right click on the picture, select Format Picture.
Click on the Colors and Lines tab, then under line section, change "Color:"
to No Line.

Do you mean a line, if so then Tohlz's method may solve it. If you actually
mean the transparent area is black then in PPT XP you need SP3.
