Transparent Icons

Hi

whenever I set any image as a wallpaper, I cannot get trasparent icons.
There is always that bacground colour around them. It looks awful.

Solution?

Check to see if you have Active Desktop enabled. If you do, most
programs that remove that background colour won't work. You are using
such a program, aren't you? If not, try:

I don't use any of those programs (I use a no-longer-free PC World
utility), so I can't tell you how good they are.
