Can't say that I am correctly interpreting what it is you are looking for.
However, in Access 2002 in Help under 'Microsoft windows color scheme' there
is some info on matching colors to the users Windows selections. Maybe that
will help.

Not able to find similar info in Access 2007 but maybe someone can point
both you and I in the right direction as to what to search under to find the
above in 2007.

You might find these two articles interesting.  Look for transparent.  Pete

thanks for responding. I'll have to a take a closer look at the code.

just to explain my objective; I want to put a company logo on the
background on the main MDI window (in the centre). Having spent hours
googling i was not able to find how to just put a logo on this MDI
(for Access 2007). So i thought about putting the logo on a form,
removing all borders, selectors etc and then setting the form color to
that of the MDI - therefore, giving the impression that the logo is
embedded into the MDI. For this to work all i would is the color code
(?) - seems a simple solution, but i am not able to find the code for
the MDI - hence the question
