Translation of WinXP messages

When I ask for some help in the newsgroups, sometimes I need to report the
messages of WinXP. Because I have a national version (Italian), I'm not sure
to report the right translation of the messages. So, does it exist a site
where I can find the English corresponding message? I've tried to ask for
this question in the Italian XP group, but nobody was able to help me.

Hi,

www.google.com, click on the language tools. They can translate (roughly) to
the English equivalent, perhaps at least enough to make the error readable
to this english group.
