Ask you kids why they installed the other Windows version and where
they got it.

Not possible by it's self............
possible when the little people play with it in the middle of the
night......

The kids needed to watch some 3-D porn. They borrowed a disk.

Ask them.

Media Center is a subset or XP Pro.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for XP Home to become Media Center.

You are either smoking dope, or you're a moron.

well when i log on. it says windowns xp media cented edition. also when i
call task manager. it takes me to another screen to confirm it and on the
choices selection. it says in the background media ceneter edition

It is concievable that such a thing can be done by malware. Back up your
files and settings and rebuild. I don't see how you can trust such a system
in its present state.

Typo perhaps, but it's a *super*set. It has everything in Professional
(except for the ability to join a domain) and more.
