transferring settings of xp to different machines

hi

this is my very first post..i work in a small company which has a small
computer lab.. due to different reasons i need to format the machines often
and then i need to install the same software again and again.. i want to have
a mechanism through which i want to transfer the currently installing
programs of a working machine to a freshly formatted machine !!!

is there any way to do it???

If the machines have IDENTICAL hardware, you could create an image of
a fresh installation and use that to install everything.

Google Acronis True Image.
 
Or just create an Image of each machine when it's finished being installed
and updated, fine-tuned and customized, and use that for future reinstalls.
