Transferring pictures to Powerpoint

I want to transfer pictures from "My Pictures" to Powerpoint. I dragged
one picture, but the next one superimposed on the first . Is there
another way other than dragging to transfer pictures? I need to give a
slide presentation for my class. Thanks.

Drag and Drop works fine, just remember to click on the first image you drop
and move it out of the way.
It also helps to insert a new line with text or a blank line at the top and
bottom of each image before dropping a new one.
If an image is too large it may cause issues also so resize as necessary.

If you want to import them so each image is placed on it's own page, go to
insert, new photo album and navigate to the folder you have the images, then
select all and import them. You will get one image per page.
