transferring my webs

Hi I'm setting up my new computer this weekend. The one
I'm working on now with all my files does not have a cd
burner; therefore I need to know how to transfer my webs
(and files).

Webs: I'm thinking publish them to a free hosting site
then publish them via live web to the new computer.

Is this the best way? and will the free ads and pop ups
publish too?

Any other tips would be great on other files.

The best solution would be to publish to a server on the internet that has
the FP extensions, then open that site directly in FP from the new computer
and publish down to the new computer.

Agree - Publishing to a FP SE server and back is the best way to transfer FP Webs

But if all you have is disc based webs, you could also WinZip the web folders (include paths and hidden system files and use the
Multi - span (disc) option) - & lots of diskettes
- that approach would also allow you to transfer other files

Another approach (if both PCs have network cards) is to cross connect them (set folder sharing)
