You need to set up the connection manually just as you did in XP. Go to
Control Panel, open Internet Options, go to the Connections tab, click Setup
and follow the prompts. You may need to get the setup information from your
ISP. Also, generally, your ISP can talk you through this procedure step by
step over the phone.

I don't think you can.
If you are on dialup, look at your ISP's site as it will give details of
what the no is.
You might need to call them if you have forgotten your password.
