Transferring data from outlook

After installing Outlook 2003, I want to revert to Oultlook Express. How do
I transfer the data from outlook 2003 to outlook express. One way I've been
considering would be to make sure that the data in outlook express is erased
and simply import the address book and messages from outlook into outlook
express. Does anyone see any downside to this?
