Hi

I wonder whether anyone could offer me practical advice on the above.

Currently using MS XP Pro SP2.

I have three spoken word tapes, each of approx. 35 minutes in length.

Rather than have the tapes stretch and become unusable I would like to
transfer them to PC (and then to CD).

I am having difficulty in finding a suitable (free) program for this
purpose.. The built in 'Sound Recorder' appears to only want to record
60 seconds of sound.

Also I am having a little difficulty in getting the signal from the
Walkman into the OK - the cable is connected from the headphone output
socket of the Walkman to the microphone input socket of the PC Ok but
the signal is simply not getting through.

Am I missing something?

Any helpful advice appreciated.

Regards
