Transferring and synchronizing folders between 5 computers

I have 2 locations: A & B, with a laptop that I carry between them. Loc A
has 2 desktops, each having folders that I want to carry to Loc B (also 2
desktops) and sync (update) the older folders at B. All computers, including
the laptop, are networked at each location.

For a specific example: I have a My Documents folder on each desktop at Loc
A. I want to sync the like folders I have on the laptop to transport them to
Loc B. When arriving at Loc B, I want to sync the like folders at B with
those on the laptop. Until now, I copy the folder to the laptop and then
replace the ones at B with the new ones. This takes quite a bit of time as
the one folder is 8G. Is there a better way using the sync feature or some
software that is available? On return to Loc A, I then must reverse the
process.

Would appreciate some input.

Without a centralized file server holding all the data, sounds like a pain
to me...and what happens when you & someone else make changes to the same
files? Who wins?
Anyway - you might check out SecondCopy at www.centered.com - it's
inexpensive and I like it a lot better than the clunky Offline Files feature
of WinXP Pro. You could also do something with batch files & xcopy or
robocopy, but if you want a GUI, check out SecondCopy (there's an eval, I
believe). Keep stuff in separate folders on your laptop, though -
